Flexible

We just finished our Durham tour and we have learned that our word for the day is FLEXIBLE. Between the rental cars not being available until 1 1/2 hours late, the Durham tour guide's car not cranking this morning, and my stuff being left in the back of my car that I let someone borrow. . . .it is 1:19 and we have yet to leave Durham, NC.

However, besides making sure to meet the security guard at the school that we are staying at--we don't have anywhere to be at any specific time until tomorrow morning.

So our tour of downtown Durham was informative, but after having the spiffy interactive tour at Greensboro International Civil Rights Museum yesterday it was hard to measure up. Learning about the ins and outs of what was going on in Durham during the times that we have been learning about in the last couple of days was enlightening.

Hopefully by the next time there is an entry we will actually be on the road. Fingers crossed.
